We’re looking for an ambitious Account Manager to join our growing client services team.

Full-time · Anywhere (UK Wide)

The Role

Our client services team is central to everything we do: leading and inspiring the wider team, cultivating the best environment for world-class work to be produced, and ensuring that everything is on brand, on brief, and on budget.

Following some recent exciting client wins, we are looking for another Account Manager. Reporting into our Account Directors, our Account Managers are friendly and enthusiastic team players with a keen interest in brand, marketing, digital, and film & content production.

The Account Manager’s primary role is to help nurture and enhance our client relationships, ensuring their needs are fully understood and are represented within the agency throughout the delivery of projects. They are able to think beyond the day to day challenges, regularly anticipating how we can not only deliver exceptional results, but go above and beyond with added value.

They are confident and articulate individuals who are able to command and lead client facing meetings with a range of professionals. They are comfortable speaking candidly with clients, always with diplomacy and tact, ensuring that we surprise and delight in all the right moments and are always delivering on our commitments.

As effective and self-aware communicators, they collaborate well with the wider agency, working closely with the core project management team who oversee delivery and studio resource capabilities.

In addition, they are continuous self-directed learners with a drive and desire to offer first-class technical knowledge and customer service to their client base. 

What you'll be doing

  • Pod Targets - Supporting the achievement of pod targets by taking ownership of individual targets and identifying new opportunities within existing client relationships

  • Sales & Negotiation - Confidently selling in the agency’s service offerings and carrying out effective negotiations to ensure the best possible outcome for the agency
  • Scoping and Planning - After initial consultation with our clients, carrying out thorough and robust scoping sessions in partnership with project managers to ensure the elements of a project or piece of work are considered from a variety of contexts, then captured correctly in all subsequent planning and pricing
  • Preparing estimates and quotes - Using the information provided in scoping exercises to provide detailed proposals and quotes to our clients ensuring that all quotes are sent via Streamtime referencing all relevant proposal documentation, and are signed off by the client before work commences
  • Pipeline Mapping - Ensuring all proposed and confirmed work is mapped and documented in the pipeline mastersheet with associated client supplied PO Numbers
  • Invoice Management - Issuing invoices at agreed milestones with all relevant information required by clients such PO numbers, correct finance contact details etc
  • Information Management - Ensuring the level and quality of information obtained from clients is suitable to facilitate the smooth delivery of projects and is gathered in a timely manner.
  • Capturing accurate client briefs - Being responsible for accurately capturing the client’s brief and writing this up in a clear and concise way to be used internally
  • Coordinating Briefing Sessions - Acting on behalf of the client, the AM is responsible for coordinating the right individuals internally and ensuring everyone is fully briefed on the expectations of the client
  • Leading Client Meetings - coordinating and leading client meetings ensuring agendas are clear and concise. Providing facilitation which ensures both parties' expectations are considered and takeaway actions are clear for all concerned

Other Details

  • Full-Time position
  • HQ in Glasgow, Scotland. You can work from anywhere within the UK (but you need to be willing to travel to our Glasgow office when required)
  • Salary of £25-32k dependent on experience
