We’re looking for a Creative PR Lead to join our new PR team at MadeBrave!

Full-time · Anywhere (UK Wide)

As Creative PR Lead, you will join the recently established PR team here at MadeBrave and be responsible for creating and delivering multi-channel PR campaigns, creative activations, and content amplification for a portfolio of category-leading clients.

In this newly created role supporting the Head of PR, you will operate as the day-to-day lead across a diverse range of globally-recognised consumer brands. You should be bursting with creative ideas and have a passion for working on creative projects. You should also be a pro at landing media coverage and scrupulous when it comes to capturing results.

About The Role

  • Manage the needs of clients and their accounts with skill and composure

  • Co-ordinate and contribute to group brainstorms
  • Generate creative ideas for clients
  • Accurately plan and deliver scopes and budgets
  • Lead on the creation and delivery of PR activations and campaigns
  • Pitch ideas to clients and internal teams
  • Develop news angles, stories and pitches
  • Prepare and sell-in press releases to the media, landing coverage in the UK and beyond
  • Analyse and share PR coverage
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients in support of their PR and wider marketing campaigns
  • Liaise with journalists on forthcoming opportunities, stories and campaigns
  • Monitor the daily news to identify client opportunities, trends and breaking stories
  • Liaise with a network of media contacts on a day-to-day basis
  • Play a key role in new business pitches and proposal creation and delivery
  • Collaborate with MadeBrave’s Strategy, Creative and Campaign teams on ideas and integration
  • Work closely with the Head of PR to achieve the department vision and broader company OKRs
  • As the team expands, manage, motivate, and nurture a team of talented juniors

What We're Looking For

The Essentials:
  • A minimum of 5 years experience working in a PR agency, either in a creative or account management role

  • A solid understanding of the media landscape both in the UK and globally, across traditional and non-traditional/new media channels
  • Skilled at building client relationships and providing honest and open client counsel
  • The able to mentor and manage junior team members
  • Experience in digital strategy and comfortable with leading teams across social media to traditional PR
  • Experience of creating big-bang moments for your clients - be it a stunt, a pop-up, a piece of experiential, or a launch event
  • Exemplary writing skills and the ability to write appropriately for: press releases, social media posts, pitches, PR plans and strategy documents
  • A track record of delivering PR activations and campaigns that cut through creatively and deliver real results
  • A curious mind with a hunger and drive to always push yourself and others to the best ideas
  • Must be able to think fast, multi-task and be able to put that into clear direction and action
  • A self starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Eat, sleep and breathe news, content and creativity
  • Great communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Thrive in a fast-moving agency environment
  • A team player through and through

  • Full-Time position
  • Work from anywhere within the UK (but you must be willing to travel occasionally to our Glasgow HQ)
  • Salary dependent on experience and location
